Panthers Fall Twice to #20 Pfeiffer

FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped both ends of a non-conference softball doubleheader to Pfeiffer University this afternoon at Vickie Van Kleeck Field. The Falcons are ranked #20 in the most recent National Fastpitch Coaches Association national poll.

GAME ONE
Pfeiffer jumped out to 5-0 lead after an inning, then added five runs in the second, including Kenzi Lyall's homer to center field, to take a commanding 10-0 lead. The Falcons added a run each in the third and fifth innings, and three runs in the fourth, including Ellie McHone' three-run homer to right-center.
