LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- In the first day of the Hornet Open, hosted by the University of Lynchburg at the Dr. Jack M. Toms Track, Ferrum College had two athletes compete in the Javelin Throw.
THE BASICS
Nicholas Brown and
DaMauri McPherson both threw the Javelin today for the first time in their careers here at Ferrum. McPherson placed 12th, with a throw of 35.40 meters (116' 1 1/2") and Brown finished 21st, with a distance of 25.80 meters (84' 7 1/2").
