WINCHESTER, Virginia -- Ferrum College lost to Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball action this afternoon on the road, falling 13-1 at Bridgeforth Stadium.

THE BASICS
Shenandoah jumped out to an 11-0 lead after four full innings, including Matt House's three-run homer to left field in the third inning and Pearce Bucher's three-run homer to left in the fourth.
Ferrum broke up the shutout in the fifth inning when
Shawn Baxter's RBI single up the middle allowed
Briggs Gentry to scamper home and cross the plate.
Gavin Horning homered to left center in the seventh inning to extend the lead the Hornets' lead to 13-1.
