FERRUM, Virginia -- Director of Athletics Cleive Adams has announced the hiring of Kwajay Witcher as Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ferrum College.

Witcher joined the Ferrum athletics staff after previously serving as Community Fitness Instructor/Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ferrum's Fitness Center before joining the athletics staff.

"I'm excited about Kwajay joining our athletic staff," said Adams. "His enthusiasm and strength & conditioning experience will be a huge benefit for our student-athletes moving forward."

Witcher played football four years at Ferrum, earning second team All-Conference as a defensive back. He also ran track two seasons for, earning third team All-Conference in the 4x400 relay.

Witcher earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2023, majoring in Exercise Science with a Coaching minor. He is a Personal Training Certified through American Council of Exercise (ACE). He also interned with Ferrum's football as a strength & conditioning coach.

Witcher begins his new position immediately.
