BUENA VISTA, Virginia -- Ammon Lewis' goal in the 79th minute broke a 2-2 tie and lifted Southern Virginia University to a non-conference win over Ferrum College in non-conference men's soccer play tonight at Knight Stadium.

THE BASICS
Landon Stock scored in the ninth minute of play off a pass from Porter Whitlock to give Southern Virginia the early lead.
Payton Rausch evened things with an unassisted goal at 27:06, only to see the Knights go back out in front a minute and a half later on
Jackson Gorringe's unassisted goal.
Following SVU's 2-1 lead at the break, Ferrum's Anthony Ceballos-Medina knotted the score at 2-2 in the 67th minute with an assist from Erick Nolasco. Lewis then drilled a shot dead center on net for the eventual game-winning goal for the Knights at the 78:01 mark.
