Francis Marion Holds on for CC Men's Soccer Win

FLORENCE, S.C. -- Amaneul Walie had the lone goal for Ferrum College in a 2-1 Conference Carolinas men's soccer loss to Francis Marion University tonight at Hartzler Field.

THE BASICS
Deion Miller got Francis Marion on the scoreboard first when he sent a ball into the upper left side of the net at 38:20. Marc Hernandez and Marlo Buelga were credited with a double assist on the goal. 

Ferrum's Amanuel Walie scored off a header from Oliver McIntosh's free kick from the left side to tie the game at 66:35. Antonio Garda broke the stalemate when he ripped a shot from 15 yards out into the bottom left side of the Ferrum net, with Miller and Mathis Magat both being credited with assists.
