SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of Conference Carolinas volleyball matches Friday and Saturday, October 3-4, on the road. The Panthers lost 3-0 to Erskine College Friday at Belk Arena, then fell 3-0 to Converence University Saturday at Hannah Gymnasium.

Set scores against Erskine were 25-21, 25-17, 25-20.
Makayla Rumley led Ferrum with nine kills,
Harleigh Propst had 14 assists,
Daniela Castillo had 18 digs and
Avery Tucker had 17 digs. The Flying Fleet was led by Becca Yohe and Ali Angell, who each had 12 kills, Meghan DeWalt's 37 assists and Rylee Bath's 19 digs
SATURDAY, 10/4
Set scores in the loss to Converse were 25-14, 25-11, 25-8.
Catherine Bennett had seven kills and 16 digs against Converse, Tucker had 15 digs and Castillo had 11 digs. The Valkyries got 12 kills and 10 digs from Bree Lyons, 10 kills from Megan Carpenter and 34 assists from Alysha Arroyo.
