TIGERVILLE, South Carolina – The Ferrum College men's soccer closed out its inaugural season at the NCAA Division II level on Saturday afternoon with a 2-0 loss to North Greenville University in the Conference Carolinas Quarterfinal at Pepsi Stadium. The Panthers played hard but a goal in each half lifted the Crusaders into the Conference Carolinas semifinals.

THE BASICS
North Greenville struck first in the 14th minute when Vinicius Silva converted off an assist from Lucas Di Pasquale. The Crusaders added an insurance goal in the 83rd minute as Ezra Hoffman found the back of the net to secure the 2-0 result.

Michael Arzillo made seven saves on the day while facing 18 shots. North Greenville held a 6-0 advantage in corner kicks and out shot Ferrum 18-3.
