FINAL RESULTS
LYNCHBURG, Va. -- Ferrum College's men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Liberty Open, held Friday, January 23, at Liberty Indoor Track Complex.
THE BASICS
Jahmal Jones won the men's 60m with a time of 6.75, a PR and now the #12 time among NCAA Division II competitors. Jones also finished fifth in the men's 200m with a time of 21.53, also a season best and the #12 time in Div. II this season.
Zenallah Hatcher-Simmons finished 10th in the women's shot put. Her distance of 12.39m is a season's best and now the #93 distance in Division II.
Camille Vaughn had a season's best for the Panthers in the women's 200m.
Setting new PRs for Ferrum were
Tristan Peterson (men's 200m),
Josiah Gallegos and
Bryce Penn (men's 400m),
Seth Truett and
Ethan Fitzgerald (men's 800m), and
Carlos Menendez (men's mile).

Andre Kidd's team will be back in action Friday and Saturday, February 6-7, at the Doc Hale Invite. The event will be hosted by Virginia Tech at Rector Field House in Blacksburg, Virginia.
