THE BASICS
Ferrum and Francis Marion played to a scoreless first half, with both teams creating scoring opportunities. The Panthers recorded five shots in the opening 45 minutes, including an attempt by Christian Ott that struck the crossbar late in the half.

Goalkeeper Michael Arzillo helped keep the match even, making three saves before halftime as the Patriots looked to break through.

The match remained scoreless in the second half, even after Francis Marion was reduced to 10 players following a red card to Othmane Karoumi in the 57th minute. Ferrum looked to take advantage of the extra player, but the Patriots' defense held firm through the final whistle.
