FERRUM, Va. -- Conference Carolinas has released the 2026 Men's Soccer All-Conference Team, and Ferrum College freshman Ben Hooper has earned second team recognition.

A freshman midfielder from Auckland, New Zealand, Hooper closed the season as Ferrum's leading scorer, totaling 10 points on four goals and two assists. Hooper is Ferrum's first All-Conference player in Conference Carolinas.

Hooper scored two game-winning goals this season. In Ferrum's 3-1 win over Barton College on September 5 on the road, he netted the game-winner in the 64th minute of play. Then, in the Panthers' 2-0 win over the University of Mount Olive on September 16 at home, Hooper scored the game-winner in the 51st minute.

Ferrum is led by first-year Head Coach James Morgan, whose team finished 6-7-3 overall, including a 4-6-2 mark in league play. The Panthers qualified for the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Tournament for the second time in as many years.
