EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College rolled to a 7-0 victory over Emory & Henry University in non-conference men's tennis action Wednesday, March 11, at Richardson Tennis Courts.

THE BASICS
Ferrum controlled the match from the start, sweeping all three doubles contests to secure the doubles point. The Panthers then carried that momentum into singles play, winning all six matches to complete the shutout.

At the top of the lineup, Emanuel Ferreira earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Nathan Spurling at No. 1 singles. Sebastian Ondas followed with a 6-0, 6-2 win against Bangalie Turay at No. 2, while Tobi Teller claimed a 7-6, 6-2 victory over Keenan Glago at No. 3.

Ferrum continued its strong play in the lower half of the lineup. Emilio Munguia recorded a 6-4, 6-2 win over Leo Knothe at No. 4 singles. Brian Karenzi battled to a three-set victory over Tristan Hicks at No. 5, winning 6-7, 6-1, 1-0 (10-3) in a match tiebreak. Gabriel Alvarez completed the sweep with a 6-3, 6-4 victory against Spencer Richard at No. 6.
