FERRUM, Va. – The Ferrum College women's lacrosse team dropped a non-conference contest to Davis & Elkins University today at home, falling 21-5 at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Davis & Elkins took control early, scoring 11 goals in the opening quarter to build a large advantage. Ferrum got on the board midway through the period when
Micaiyah Dickerson finished a pass from
Caroline Moore, but the Senators carried an 11–1 lead into the second quarter.
The Senators added three more goals in the second period, while
Alaia Beckwith scored for the Panthers to make the halftime score 14–2.
Davis & Elkins extended its lead with six goals in the third quarter. Ferrum answered with two scores during the period, including a man-up goal from
Noelle LaCharite and a free-position goal by Moore.
Ferrum added one more goal in the fourth quarter when
Lana Barkovic converted a man-up opportunity off an assist from Moore, but Davis & Elkins closed the scoring to secure the 21–5 victory.
