FERRUM, Va. -- Ferrum College's men's tennis team rolled to a 7-0 victory over Virginia State University this afternoon at the Burrows Tennis Courts.

THE BASICS
Ferrum controlled the match from the start, sweeping all three doubles contests to take the doubles point. The Panthers carried that momentum into singles, winning all six matches in straight sets to complete the shutout.
At the top of the lineup,
Emanuel Ferreira earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Bryan Jordan at No. 1 singles.
Sebastian Ondas followed with a 6-0, 6-3 win against Brandon Farmer at No. 2, and
Tobi Teller picked up a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Justin Jackson at No. 3.
Ferrum continued its dominance in the lower half of the lineup.
Emilio Munguia and
Brian Karenzi each posted 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively.
Gabriel Alvarez closed out the sweep with a hard-fought 6-4, 6-2 win over Krishi Motam at No. 6.
