HARRISONBURG, Va. -- The Ferrum College track & field team turned in several strong individual performances Saturday at the JMU Invitational, highlighted by multiple personal-best efforts and top-10 finishes.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Tristan Peterson placed eighth in the 100m (10.93) and added a season-best 22.75 in the 200m
• Josiah Gallegos recorded a personal-best 52.07 in the 400m and ran 23.19 in the 200m
• Kalaib Gebrehaimanot finished eighth in the 400m hurdles with a personal-best 59.17
• Damani Veney-Epps placed ninth in the 1500m with a personal-best 4:11.70 and ran 2:03.64 in the 800m
• Carlos Menendez posted a personal-best 4:13.74 in the 1500m
• Ethan Fitzgerald clocked 2:03.71 in the 800m
• Deontae Lawson finished fifth in the long jump (6.84m)
• Kyle Holcomb recorded a personal-best 40.76m in the hammer throw
• Elijah Joyner posted a personal-best 11.72m in the shot put

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

• Zyreonia Patterson placed third in the long jump (5.51m)
• Zenallah Hatcher-Simmons finished seventh in the shot put (12.27m, season-best), ninth in the hammer throw, and 12th in the discus
• Lilian Bigger placed fifth in the javelin (34.00m)
• Camille Vaughn led Ferrum in the 100m with a time of 12.53
• Dezyre Christian ran 1:04.23 in the 400m
• Sarah Hudgins recorded a 2:32.36 in the 800m
• Carly Carwile posted a personal-best 5:34.36 in the 1500m
