Tom Steele joined the Ferrum College staff in 2011, serving as Director of Academic Outreach and Athletics Initiatives. Tom is responsible for providing academic support and resources for Ferrum's student-athletes. As Coordinator of Ferrum's PRIDE (Personal Responsibility In Developing Excellence), he oversees programming that prepares student-athletes for success in the classroom and in their chosen career. Tom's background in college athletics includes playing football at Presbyterian College, serving as a strength and conditioning coach for Clemson University, and coordinating the transfer process for student-athletes at Western Carolina University.
