Haley Overstreet joined the Ferrum athletics staff as Assistant Field Hockey Coach in December 2018, after volunteering for the program during the fall season. A former thee-sport student-athlete at Ferrum, Overstreet became the first woman to score goals in three different sports for the Panthers (field hockey, lacrosse, soccer).

Overstreet earned a her bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in exercise and sports studies from Ferrum with a minor in coaching in December 2016. During her time here, Overstreet worked two years in the Sports Information Office, serving as play-by-play commentary for live streams and running statistics for many home athletic events.
