Kim Sullivan joined the Ferrum coaching staff in Fall 2020 as assistant field hockey coach. She was named Interim Head Field Hockey Coach in February 2022.

Previously, she served as assistant coach at Mountain View High School in Stafford, Virginia, from 2012 to 2014, helping the team win a state championship in 2013. Sullivan then moved into the head coach position at Mountain View in 2015 and stayed in that role until 2019, where she won back-to-back state titles in the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Sullivan also was a part of the Nova Elite Travel Program from 2012 to 2019, which is stationed in Stafford. Sullivan spent her playing days at Division I program Longwood University.
