Phillip Steagall joined the Ferrum softball coaching staff as a volunteer assistant in 2015. He also works as a building trades teacher at Patrick County High School. Steagall has coached a number of years in softball, baseball, golf and volleyball, and has earned numerous Coach of the Year honors in softball, baseball and golf. He played collegiate golf two years at Surry Community College.
