FERRUM, Va. --
Jamal Pullen had 27 points and nine rebounds for Ferrum College, but the Panthers fell 83-76 to non-conference opponent Marymount University this afternoon at Swartz Gymnasium.
Ferrum was on the short end of a 39-31 halftime score, then trailed by 13 in the second half. The closest the Panthers could get was five points a couple times before Marymount closed it out.
Michael Anderson had 24 points for the Saints (7-2), while Antonio Rouse added 15 points and JC Hoellich had 12 points.
Brian Clarke added 20 points and 10 assists in the loss.
Ferrum (3-5) returns to action Thursday, Dec. 19, on the road against Virginia Wesleyan College. The non-conference game gets underway at 5:00 p.m. in Norfolk.
