TOWSON, Md. -
Jamal Pullen had 19 points and 12 rebounds, both game-high totals, to lead Ferrum College to a 68-62 non-conference men's basketball win over Goucher College tonight at the Decker Sports and Recreation Center. The Panthers trailed by three at halftime, but outscored Goucher 39-30 after the break to earn their third straight win.
Rashawn Speas and
Alek Ayer added 10 points each, while
Tyler Mann chipped in 13 points off the bench for Ferrum. Alex Noble had 19 points to lead the Gophers (0-4), and Tre Galloway had 16 points. The Panthers shot 39% from the floor to Goucher's 42%, but made made 18 of 28 attempts from the free throw line. Ferrum (3-1) returns to action Tuesday, Nov. 25, at home against Lynchburg College. The non-conference game is scheduled to tip off at 4:00 p.m. at Swartz Gymnasium.
