Rashawn Speas had 21 points and
Josh Grimard had 20 as Ferrum College routed LaGrange College 100-76 in USA South men's basketball action this afternoon at Swartz Gym. It was the first time Ferrum hit the 100-point mark since November 2013 in a 101-72 win over Goucher College.

How It HappenedFerrum broke a 35-35 halftime tie, going on top 52-44 at 13:52 of the second half on a layup by Grimard, and cruising down the stretch with a free throw parade. Ferrum out-rebounded LaGrange 40-26, and had 23 assists to LaGrange's eight. The Panthers shot 58% from the floor for the game, while LaGrange shot 35%.
