ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. -- Devontae Williams a had a game-high 19 points to lead North Carolina Wesleyan College to a 70-64 USA South Athletic Conference men's basketball win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Everett Gym. The loss snapped a four-game win streak for the Panthers.

The Panthers trailed 37-24 at the break, but played well in the second half, aided by a 54% shooting clip. With 1:30 left in regulation,
Marvin Wilson made a layup for Ferrum, was fouled and converted the ensuing free throw to cut the lead to 61-60. The Bishops closed the game with a 9-4 run from there to remain unbeaten in league play.
