FERRUM, Va. -- Adrian Moore had a game-high 19 points to lead North Carolina Wesleyan College to a 57-58 USA South men's basketball win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Swartz Gym. The loss snapped Ferum's five-game win streak. The Bishops currently hold the top spot in the USA South standings.

How It Happened
The Bishops used a 6-0 mini-run to break a 12-12 stalemate early on and grab an 18-12 lead at 11:03 of the first half. The Panthers battled back to tie the game at 24-24 on D'Andre Mullen's jumper at 2:54. Adrian Moore hit a pair of jumpers and two free throws for N.C. Wesleyan to take a 30-24 lead into the locker room. An 8-2 run to open the second half widened the lead to 38-26 as the Bishops began to pull away. D.J. Weaver knocked down a pair of free throws at the 10-minute mark and the lead was 51-37. The Panthers got to within seven points three times, including on Rashawn Speas' jumper with 23 seconds remaining in regulation to make it 63-56.
