Austin Winkles hit for the cycle to power Ferrum College to an 8-1 non-conference baseball win over visiting Lynchburg College this afternoon at Panther Field. The win was Ferrum's fourth straight.

How It HappenedWinkles opened the game with a single to right center in the first inning, then belted a two-run homer over the left field fence in the second inning. He tripled to left center in the sixth inning, then doubled to deep left field in the seventh to complete the cycle. The Panthers led 4-0 after two innings, 5-0 after three and 7-0 after six.
