Baseball Splits with William Peace

CARY, N.C. -- Ferrum College split a pair of USA South baseball games with William Peace University this afternoon at the USA Baseball National Training Center. The Pacers won the opener 4-2, but Ferrum came back to take the nightcap 3-1. Ferrum won the first of three league games, 9-1 last night.

How It Happened
After dropping the opener, Ferrum bounced back to win game two. Starter Dillon Weaver allowed two hits over six innings with one earned run, no walks and two strikeouts. Jared Talley earned his second save of the season after pitching the ninth inning and allowing no hits, runs or walks, with one strikeout.
