
SALEM, Va. - Ferrum College's baseball team suffered a 7-5 non-conference loss to Roanoke College this afternoon at Lewis-Game Field. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak by the Panthers.

How It HappenedFerrum led 5-3 after seven full innings, only to see the Maroons plate four runs in the bottom of the eighth for the win. The Panthers scored a run in the second inning, then added four in the sixth. The Maroons added four in the bottom of the eighth inning to pull ahead, then held on the on in the ninth.
