Cliff Alexander allowed two hits over seven innings with six strikeouts to help Ferrum College complete a three-game USA South series over visiting Methodist University with this afternoon's 9-1 win at Panther Field. Ferrum won the first two games Saturday, 6-1 and 6-2. The Monarchs are the preseason favorites to win the league crown.
