GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Ferrum College picked up a 4-0 USA South Athletic Conference shutout baseball win over Greensboro College tonight at Leonard Park. The game is the first in a three-game league series against the Pride. Games two and three will be played Sunday.

How It Happened
Ferrum scored a run in the sixth inning on Lane Deaver's RBI single. The Panthers then plated three runs in the ninth inning, starting with Dustin Boothe's solo homer to right field, and followed by RBI singles from Ty Comer and Anderson Ramos. Jake Perkins tossed a complete nine inning one-hitter with three walks and 10 strikeouts.
