EMORY, Va. -- Ferrum College fell 7-5 in non-conference baseball action to Emory & Henry College this afternoon at Wasps Field. The Panthers trailed 7-2 but rallied to score three late runs before losing.

The Wasps scored two runs in the fourth inning and three in the sixth to grab a 7-2 lead, then hung on for the win. Brandon Lineberry had a solo homer in the third for Emory & Henry.
Lane Deaver scored a run in the top of the eighth. In the ninth inning,
Lucas Stevers walked with the bases loaded to drive in a run, then
Anderson Ramos had a sac fly to push another run across the plate, but the rally ended there.
