The Panthers opened with a 9-0 rout, then completed the three-game series sweep with a 6-1 win in the nightcap. Ferrum also beat Greensboro 4-0 in the series opener Saturday.

Dillon Weaver pitched a complete nine-inning game, allowing six hits and no walks with six strikeouts. In the second game, Ferrum scored two each in the second and third innings, then one in the fourth for a 5-1 lead.
Lucas Stevers sent a ball over the right field fence for a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to close things out.
