HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Ferrum College's cross country teams competed this afternoon at the Vertcross Invitational, hosted by High Point University. East Tennessee State University grabbed the men's title,while Appalachian State University took the women's. Four Ferrum women competed, while one ran for the Ferrum men.

Coach Mark White's team will be back in action Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship. Shenandoah University will host the event in Winchester, Virginia.
