FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball match tonight at home, falling 3-0 to league newcomer Averett University. Set scores were 25-20, 25-12, 25-11.

THE BASICS
The two teams player fairly evenly in the opening set, with the score sitting at 18-15 when Averett began to pull away. The set ended on a Sarah Marlowe kill. The Cougars then rolled through the second and third sets to take the match.
