FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College rebounded from an 0-2 deficit to post a 3-2 non-conference volleyball comeback win over Methodist University tonight at Swartz Gym. Set scores were 20-25, 21-25, 25-22, 26-24, 15-12.

THE BASICS
After dropping the first two sets, Ferrum closed out the third set with three Taylor Joyner kills. In the fourth set, the two teams were tied 24-24, but the Panthers got a kill from Joyner, then an attack error from Methodist to eke out a 26-24 win and tie the match at two sets each.

Ferrum trailed 4-0 in the fifth and deciding set, but stymied Methodist's run with a timeout. The Panthers then came back out on the floor and used an 8-4 run to even the set at 8-8. The two teams battled to a 12-12 deadlock from there, then Ferrum scored the final three points of the night on a Monarch attack error, a Joyner kill and a Sami Kircher service ace to complete the comeback.
