FERRUM, Virginia -- The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) has announced the 2022 Football All-Conference teams and Ferrum College's Avion Smith and Monzelle Campbell were both named to team for the first times in their careers. 

Smith a junior cornerback from Richmond Hill, Georgia was named to the All-ODAC Second Team Defense. He led the team this year in solo tackles (39), total tackles (53), interceptions with (3), tied for third in the ODAC, and pass break-ups (8), tied for fourth in ODAC. Smith had one blocked PAT attempt that he returned 97 yards for two points. 

Campbell, a sophomore running back from Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina was named to the All-ODAC Third Team Offense, as an all purpose back. He carried the ball 92 times for 380 yards,and two touchdowns. Caught seven passes for 44 yards, and also threw one touchdown pass. As a returner on special teams, Campbell returned 8 punts for 96 yards, including a 87 yard touchdown, returned 18 kick-offs for 380 yards, and had five total tackles. In total he 912 all purpose yards.
