FINAL RESULTS
NEWPORT NEWS, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's cross country team competed today at the NCAA Regional Preview, hosted by Christopher Newport University at Lee Hall Mansion. The Panthers placed 14th as a team, competing in a field of 20 teams, including two NCAA Division I programs.
THE BASICS
The College of William & Mary took top honors in the team race with a 35. University of Lynchburg (46) and Virginia Commonwealth University (93, placed second and third, respectively of the 20 teams that competed. Ferrum (445) placed 14th in a field of 20 teams that competed. Lynchburg's Frank Csorba finished first in a field of 167 runners, covering the 8K course in a time of 24:16.7.
