LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- University of Lynchburg handed an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) field hockey loss to Ferrum College tonight, winning 14-0 at Shellenberger Field. The Hornets came into the game ranked #11 in the country in this week's National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III poll.

Marlou Wendriks, Khanyisile Mzizi and Jenna Tangiers found the back of the Ferrum cage twice each in the first half to lead Lynchburg to a 10-0 halftime advantage. Aurora Balsamo added a pair of goals in the second half for the Hornets.
