Shenandoah Hands Ferrum ODAC Field Hockey Loss

FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College fell 5-0 to Shenandoah University in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) field hockey action this afternoon at W.B. Adams Stadium.

THE BASICS
Elizabeth Ranberger had back-to-back goals to spot Shenandoah a 2-0 lead less than seven minutes into the game. Mackenzie Watkins added a goal at the 11:22 mark and the Hornets took a 3-0 lead at the break.

Mairead McKibbin added a goal with five seconds left in the third quarter, then Ranberger completed a hat trick with her third goal of the day at the 49:34 mark for the final score of the game.

The Hornets used four goalkeepers this afternoon, including starter Taylor Swann, each collecting 15 minutes in the cage.
