Pride Beat Ferrum Men

GREENSBORO, North Carolina -- Sam Mandryk had six goals and an assist in Greensboro College's 19-6 non-conference men's lacrosse win over Ferrum College this afternoon at Pride Field.

THE BASICS
Greensboro jumped out to 4-0 lead and never looked back. Jacob Carroll broke up the shutout with a goal for Ferrum at 3:46 of the first quarter. Michael Paolicelli found the back of the net at 6:42 of the second quarter to trim the lead to 6-2, but the Pride added four more to take a 10-2 lead into the break.

Greensboro added six goals in the third quarter, and led 16-2 to open the fourth. Carroll added a goal at 12:53 of the fourth, then Tommy Jackson had two goals and Paolicelli added one in the final five minutes of play for the final count.
