FERRUM, Virginia -- JP Galloway had five goals and a pair of assists to keep Pfeiffer University unbeaten in a 23-7 men's lacrosse win tonight over Ferrum College at W.B. Adams Stadium. The game was the first of this week's Blue Ridge Classic.

THE BASICS
Tommy Jackson spotted Ferrum a 2-0 lead with goals at 12:52 and 11:42 of the first quarter. Will White found the back of the net for Pfeiffer at 11:14 to trim the lead to 2-1, then
Aric Lawrence scored for Ferrum at the 10:15 mark.
The Falcons then exploded for 13 straight goals to take control and take a 14-3 lead at the break. The two teams played evenly in the third quarter, each scoring two goals, including one each by Ferrum's Lawrence andÂ
Michael Paolicelli. Pfeiffer then outscored Ferrum 7-2 in the fourth quarter, with Paolicelli and
Jon Straka scoring a goal each for the Panthers.
