FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College baseball team dropped an  Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) 11-7 against Guilford College tonight at Panther Field.

THE BASICS
Guilford pushed two runs across the plate in the top of the first, Chase Wade singled up the middle to drive in one and Grayson Tudor single to right to drive in a run.
Ozzie Torres reached home on an error to get one back for Ferrum in the second. Tudor drove in his second RBI of the game to left-center.
Wade's double to right-center gave the Quakers a 5-1 in the fourth.
Elijah Byrd drove in
Benjamin Thomas with a double to left field in the fifth. Isaiah Hairston drove in two more for Guilford in the sixth, with a homerun to right-center. Nick Boles added two more with a single in the eighth, give the Quakers a 9-2 lead. Bryce Vestal drove in two with the bases loaded, with a single up the middle.
Russell Golembe walked with the bases loaded to bring in a run and
Enrique Diaz hit a sacrifice flyball in the eighth. Thomas doubled down the right field line, bringing home two more runs. Byrd then drove in Thomas with a single to left field.Â
