FERRUM, Virginia n-- Ferrum College picked up an Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball sweep this afternoon at home over Virginia Wesleyan University, winning the opener 10-9 in 10 innings and then grabbing the nightcap 9-6 at Panther Field.

GAME 1
Ferrum led 8-4 after four full innings, but the Marlins scored three in the seventh inning and two in the ninth to tie the game 9-9. In the bottom of the 10th inning, Clayton Michael doubled to right field with two outs, then scored when Tyson Measamer ripped a pinch-hit RBI single up the middle to end the game.

In the nightcap, the two teams were tied 6-6 after six innings. Ferrum then scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh on Nick Funk's RBI single to right field, Russell Golambe's sacrifice fly to center and Torres' groundout to second.
