FERRUM, Virginia -- Ferrum College earned a non-conference women's soccer win tonight at home over Meredith College, winning 1-0 at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Ashlynn Mitcham scored with an assist from Jamie Adams in the 15th minute of play for Ferrum, and the Panther defense did the rest to preserve the shutout.

Adams took a pass from Anna Milliron from the left hand side, then crossed it to Mitcham, who beat Meredith goalkeeper Khaliah Jones.
