BLUEFIELD, West Virginia -- Ferrum College's volleyball team fell 3-0 at Bluefield State University, an NCAA Div. II opponent. Set scores were 25-17, 25-17, 25-19 this afternoon at Ned Shott Gymnasium.

THE BASICS
Ferrum led 5-3 in the opening set. Bluefield State rallied with a 16-7 run to go out in front 19-12, then held on to go up a set.
The Bulldogs led 6-1 early in the second set, and the two teams played even the rest of the way as BSU went up two sets to love.
Ferrum and Bluefield State were neck and neck to open the third set, with eight ties. Ferrum led 12-11 on a
Kenzee Chaffin kill from
Sami Kircher's set. The Bulldogs then went on an 11-2 run to go out in front for good at 22-14, then held on to take the set and match.
