LYNCHBURG, Virginia -- Ferrum College's volleyball team fell 3-0 to Randolph College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play tonight at Giles Gym. Set scores were 25-23, 25-21, 25-21.

THE BASICS
The Panthers trailed 17-16 in the opening set, but Randolph hung on with an 8-7 run from there to take the set.
Terry Bailey's kill early in the second set spotted the Panthers a 5-1 lead, which they expanded to 11-4 on a pair of WildCat attack errors. Randolph exploded with a 14-4 run to grab an 18-15 lead, then held again for the two sets to love lead.
In the third set, Randolph opened a 9-2 lead and stayed out in front by at least three points the rest of the way to take the set and match.

Shelbylynn Adair's team will close out the season Wednesday, November 6, at home against Guilford College. The ODAC match is set for a 7:00 p.m. start at Swartz Gym. The match will be preceded by a 6:45 p.m. Senior Night ceremony for Ferrum's three graduating players.
