RALEIGH, North Carolina – Ferrum College dropped a pair of games in non-conference softball action to William Peace University, falling 10-2 and 9-0 this afternoon at WPU Softball Complex.

GAME ONE
Ferrum scored a run in the second inning with
Leanna Bartrug crossing the plate when
Emily Hopper singled and advanced to second.
Macey Moore's groundout in the third inning drove in
Carsen Hogston to make it a 2-0 Panther lead. The score remained 2-0 Ferrum through four innings, but the Pacers picked up a run in the fifth, then erupted for nine runs in the sixth to close it out.
