FERRUM, Virginia -- Virginia Wesleyan University picked up a pair of Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) softball wins over Ferrum College this afternoon, taking the opener 10-0 and the nightcap 13-3 at Vickie Van Kleeck Field.

GAME ONE
#9 Virginia Wesleyan put two runs on the scoreboard in the first inning and one in the second to grab the early lead. The Marlins then added a run in the fifth and six in the sixth to close the game out after six full innings.

GAME TWO
The Marlins scored five runs in the first inning, including two on Alison Pollack's two-run homer to center field. VWU added two in the second, one in the third and five in the fourth to hold a commanding 13-0 lead. Ferrum fought to the end, scoring three runs in the bottom of the fifth inning, one on an error and two when Kylie Atkins' ripped an RBI single to center field.
