TROUTVILLE, Virginia -- Ferrum College dropped a pair of softball games to Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play, falling 4-2 in the opener and 8-0 in the nightcap at Botetourt Sports Complex.

GAME ONE
Roanoke scored a run each in the first and second innings in the opener, then picked up two more in the fourth. The Maroons carried the 4-2 lead through five full innings before Ferrum would get on the scoreboard.
Macey Moore reached on a fielder's choice in the top of the sixth inning, driving in two runs for Ferrum. Roanoke starter
Maggie McCray pitched a complete seven-inning game for the Maroons, striking out 11 batters.
