ROCKY MOUNT, NC - The Ferrum College women's soccer team continued their impressive start to the season with a commanding 5-0 win against NC Wesleyan this afternoon, extending their undefeated streak to 5-0.

THE BASICS
The Panthers showcased their offensive prowess early in the match, building a 3-0 lead by halftime. Seniors
Ashlynn Mitcham and
Bri Bitz started the onslaught with each scoring a goal to build the early lead. Freshman
Breanna Herlihy scored her first career goal before halftime on a pass from Senior
Jamie Adams. The second half saw Ferrum maintain their dominance with additional goals from Senior
Amber Gillen and Bitz who scored her second goal of the day off an assist from Junior
Jadyn Patton.
The Panthers defense dominated, led by Senior goalkeeper
Ashli Wuss's seven saves securing the shutout. The Bishops goalie Grace Walls battled all day and made eleven saves.
