FERRUM, Virginia -- The Ferrum College men's soccer team hosted Methodist University this evening in a non-conference match, losing 2-1 at Penn-Roediger Field.

THE BASICS
Methodist's Josh Mott claimed the first goal at the 11:35 mark of the game and the team maintained a 1-0 lead throughout the rest of the first half. The second goal of the game was scored in the 57th minute by Casey Atwell for the Monarchs.

Jonathan Nicacio then put Ferrum on to the board by sinking the ball into the net at the 83:09 mark with an assist from Anthony Ceballos-Medina. This brought the score to 2-1 and the game ended with the Panthers falling short of a victory.
